A person is guilty of an offense if, to further gambling and knowingly owns manufactures or transfers any gambling device is known to be intended for gambling purposes or any device that is believed to be designed as an integral component or subassembly of a gambling device. A person is guilty of an offense if, to further gambling or increase his gambling, he communicates information regarding betting odds, bets, or changes in betting odds. The person knowingly installs, provides, or maintains equipment for the transmission or reception of the information. A person is guilty of an offense when, with the intent to further gambling and knowingly owns, commercially manufactures, transfers, or has any modified gambling equipment that he is aware is designed for gambling purposes or any other device is believed to be made to be a subassembly of or a primary component of the device.

A person is guilty of an offense if, to further gambling and gambling, the person has knowingly owned manufacturing, transferred commercially, or gambling equipment. It is a defense against prosecution under Subsection a or c that the person was the owner, manufacturer or transferred the gambling device equipment, paraphernalia, or device for the sole reason of shipping it to a different jurisdiction in which the use or possession of the equipment, device or paraphernalia is legal.
